GB Rowers have delivered over 60 Medallist hosted sessions and have been delivering days at Henley on Thames since 2013.

After 12 years of fundraising £655K at various sporting venues, we wish to reimagine how we deliver this innovative purpose project, to this end we want to bring rowing professionals together as an elite team in The Purpose Crew to make a social impact.

The opportunity to donate your place on the GB Rowers Charity Day as a corporate, club or individual to a Junior Rower.

Membership can be bought by an Individual, Corporate or as a Club, the latter to use the place to fundraise for the club.
Team members will have access to a place on a fun VIP Rowing experience that you can choose to participate in yourself, however, if solely interested in the London off water networking opportunities you would see value in utilising the place on a rowing day as either;
1) Gift the Experience Day place to someone you know or a Junior Rower at your club this Christmas, complete with Video Message and Gift E-Pack.
2) Or as a Social Impact / Philanthropy activation donate to a good cause for them to auction off in your name in 2025.
3) As a Rowing specific Social Impact / Philanthropy activation donate to a junior rower on one of the many social rowing for all schemes, such as Fulham Reach, Mossbourne Academy or London Youth Rowing which despite its name works around the country. All would be very delighted to award these places as a Christmas gift to help inspire and give the widest possible access to these amazing days

If you choose to participate, you compete in your very limited edition Purpose Crew against fellow participants and in a once in a lifetime head-to-head against the GB Medallists from Paris in Flying Lap Beat the Medallist competitions. This is where the purpose element comes in, you can CHOOSE to utilise the challenge against a GB Medallist to get time bonuses, by fundraising for your chosen good cause.
On the day you will be accessing the Athlete Q and A’s and taking home signed mementoes Each session comes with coaching and all equipment.
On the day the formatted experience includes:

A fun (i.e. brief) ERG challenge

Time out on the water in a Quad with a GB Medallist.

Exclusive athlete signed souvenirs

Full professional assistance throughout the day with trained coaches.

PURPOSE CREW ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE OF THE DAY:

Purpose of the group is to highlight fundraising and philanthropy through LinkedIn and Instagram pages.

Highlight the achievements of members and the Athlete Ambassadors.

Expand the aims and objectives of the group to meet the expectations of members this includes a social networking event away from the water.

This will include discounts on events and rowing related equipment / apparel which will be posted in the LinkedIn Group and not spammed.

Membership comes with discounts on extra places and on other GB Athlete Experience Days.

Membership runs from now until 1st December 2025.
COST OF ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP
£240 + vat

This will come with a members pack and a personalised message from an Athlete Ambassador sent to the designated member.

Hoodie will be available on your chosen day or attendance at a networking event.

Corporate / Club membership will provide one free space at each networking event.
